The Family Table

The Family Table: Recipes and Moments from a Nomadic Life by Jazz Smollett and Jake Smollett is a heartfelt cookbook and family memoir that celebrates the power of food to create connection, stability, and tradition across changing places and seasons of life. Drawing from the Smollett family's Creole-New Orleans and Jewish-New York roots, the book blends recipes, personal stories, and memories gathered from a childhood spent moving from city to city. Filled with comforting dishes, cultural influences, and reflections from the entire Smollett family, The Family Table is ultimately a tribute to home—not as a place, but as the people, traditions, and meals shared around the table.
